The Battle of the Bridges youth music event is an annual showcase of emerging talent from Sydney’s south, where the top young performers from Youth Week events go head-to-head for local recognition. For this year’s branding, I created designs inspired by the vibrant, nostalgic energy of 60s and 70s rock posters, with a psychedelic twist to capture the event’s dynamic spirit. Working closely with Georges River and Sutherland Shire Councils and 3Bridges Community, I developed a cohesive visual style across posters, digital assets, and banners, balancing creative input to deliver a design that resonated with organizers and performers alike.
